window fix
My windows did not roll up, Yes to down, but sucks if it rains. I have looked and googled and talked to every gearhead I know. 1 guy uses ball bearings. 1 guy said he uses 5/16 nuts. I was going to, but needed to both windows and only had 2 nuts. I googled and found a explorer writeup where he used 3/8 rod. I did the same. It is the same size (or close) as the plastic pieces. I had some 3/8 tubing from a harley build. It works great. I also drilled holes in the door and unbolted the motor. I didn't have to remove the regulator. Help also makes the plastic pieces. Autozone is quick to take your money and sell you a 20 gear. The help was 1/2 that much. I think the part # is 74410.
