Looking for some guidance
Hello! And Good Evening All...
Looking for some input. Noticed a few months back, while out driving - attempted to use Cruise control out on the highway and it didn't activate/turn on.
A few weeks ago - I have noticed that the airbag warning light has begun flashing occasionally; and sometimes will stay lit. It seems to be flashing a 1 5 code. Any suggestions? And or direction to head in?

Newbie here! I had a similar problem on an '02 7.3 4x4 I picked up last week. No cruise control, air bag light on and no horn. I replaced the clock spring behind the steering wheel and it fixed the air bag light and horn. The replacement was straight foreward and simple with a Chilton manual. My cruise control is still not functioning though. Next step is replacing the brake relay on the master cylinder. A lot of intelligent minds on FTE point to this as a culprit. Good luck

If I remember correctly there were multiple wires in the clock spring. If it is the clock is spring going bad, you may have only severed the cruise control and air bag wires so far. I doubt it would sever all at once. Just my $.02
