Clock spring question
Just got a steering wheel with cruise control for my 03 F350. Mine didn't have cruise on it so I read that I needed to change the clock spring also. The guy I got it from was taking out the clock spring and opened it. It looks like its still good but wanted to make sure if I should get another one. He wound it back and its all back together now.

Ended up with a new clockspring from the dealer, all the aftermarket ones had the wrong plugs. Didn't even have to take it to the dealer to have cruise turned on. Worked as soon as I was finished

Cant remember where I found it, on 6.0 I just got a steering wheel with the cruise buttons. Had to get a clockspring from the dealer because everything I found at all the parts stores had a different plug. Just make sure you unhook the batteries before taking the airbag out. After taking off the airbag all you have to do is pull the steering wheel and clockspring, then add the new one
