I don't know. I dropped the truck off, the dealership gave me a ride to my grandma's house where the Mustang is stored and I drove home. Came back when it was done.

Pull the turbo, maybe the FICM and some odd ends and it comes out in two pieces. I'd say difficultly depends mostly on how rusted everything is and how fast you can swap a turbo, but it's nothing a DIY can't handle. Aligning it and getting rid of leaks after can be a PITA.

It's in the TSB. Either block it off and put it in a tank of water, or pull a vacuum on the cooling system and see if it leaks down. But there's always the crowd pleaser options of replace with BPD cooler or just straight up delete it.
Any good way to check for this? I would imagine it would have to be at a spot where I am not losing coolant...prob too small for the naked eye? Or are you speaking of a larger crack?
Just slide the bottle fwd in the mount and look behind it for signs of crack or leaking on the back and bottom especially along the parting line in the plastic. Sort of a long shot but I would look at it before buying anything or pulling anything major apart.

I am coming to terms....after some more investigation, this may just be an HG leak, although slight, but a leak nonetheless. Had to add a lil coolant the other day

Have you put a pressure gauge on the cooling system?
No I have not done that....I know that is the final call on a HG issue.
That will solidify the symptom. But Make sure when you attach the gauge it is run outside of the cab, or you have a means to isolate the system pressure from venting should there be a failure of tubing. You don't want 16PSI+ coolant/vapor blowing into your cab!

Or get the gauge that holds highest pressure and a reset, like a tire pressure gauge.
Place it in-line between the radiator and bottle in the 3/8" line.
I got mine at the zone for 5.99 + hose and clamps $12 total.
