2006 E350 ABS sensor location

2006 E350 ABS sensor location
Hello all... have a Dorman ABS/rear differential speed sensor... part number 970-012....where exactly is this sensor located? One place says it's on the rear brakes and the other says it's located in the rear differential... thanks

On the pickups, the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) is located on the top of the rear differential. I would imagine it would be the same for an E-350, if the same diff is used.

I'm not very familiar with Ford rear ends other than the 9 inch, 8.8, and Sterling 10.25... the rear end is a 10 bolt rear end but I didn't see any sensors on the rear end... anywhere else it could be located?

It should be on the inside top edge. Look for a
wiring harness. You should also see the vent
line running up to the frame. If you don't find it
let me know and I'll look in my magic Book (DVD)
at the location diagram.
