I have a 2006 f350 that did not have the cord installed on the block heater. Over time, something has happened to break the thread part of the element. So looks like I have to replace the whole thing. Does this mean that I am going to need to drain the anti-freeze?
My '03 doesn't have any issues starting in the cold, except last year when the factory battery finally needed replaced. But, plugging in when it's cold should be better for the truck... if only I had a plug. I'm planning on adding one this year.
