Do ALL diesels (05 F250 PS) come with a block heater?
Borrowed the truck from work for the next couple of days and couldn't find the plug anywhere, mind you I have a 06 gasser that has a block heater so I know where to look, but couldn't find it for the life of me.
It did start with no problems here this morning at 5F but wanted to help it along.
Being a work truck, it might have been ordered down south in bulk and shipped here, that's why I thought it may not have come with a heater.
I believe I have read on this site that all diesels came through with the heaters but not all have the wiring. If you look through the right side wheel well, you should be able to see the wire hanging down above the starter if it's there.
On my 2007 F-350, the cord is behind the PASSENGER's side tow hook. All diesels have the block heater, but not all have the connecting cord. I had to buy the cord and add it later.
