I found Carpet Door Panel Inserts on Cardboard on the Internet. They say 2 piece die cut and the part number is ACC 144227CUTPILE. There is no actual description on them and I can’t find anything when I try to research them on the Internet. Does anybody know what the heck they are?
Thanks for the help, but it still doesn’t explain what they are and they give no picture to look at. Are they door panels? Will they replace my existing door panels? My old original ones are shot and they are not only expensive but don’t come in the color I need. I was hoping that someone had purchased a set and could explain just exactly what they are. It would be great if I could replace my old door panels with carpeted ones for a cheaper price.
I'v owned about a half a dozen of these 73 to 79s and it seems like i had one, maybe my bronco, that had a lower panel that was carpet and above it were some storage pockets. I checked that site out too and all i found was some carpet colors you can get , no other information.
Have you thought about covering your panel pieces on your own? Once you do it you kind of kick yourself for ever spending the money on such a simple item.
I have carpet on the bottoms of my doors, below the door panels. LMC Truck and other online places carry those pieces in several colors. I've never seen carpet integrated into the door panel itself.
I think what your looking at is the carpet panels that fit below the door panel.
Made by ACC the item # is 14422- and then the year of your truck. When I enter in my truck year it gives me # 14422-78. The item # you gave is missing the last # thats why its not popping up.
This was the answer I was looking for. Thanks for the help guys. As far as covering mine goes, they are pretty busted up. I might try to JB Weld them back together and just paint them..
