Anyone have a source for those simulated wood grain door panel squares that attach to the panel? I know they're probably pretty tough to find, but worth a shot.
I met a guy a couple of years back who had tracked down some really nice wood grain veneer to restore his door panels. There's some great stuff out there, just google "wood grain veneer". You can attach most veneers with a contact cement, like DAP. You'll need to make a template to trim it out.

I would think you could make some from real wood. A couple of thin pieces of cherry, or maybe oak, with some high gloss polyurethane finish, would work.
