Ip lines, I feel dumb

Ip lines, I feel dumb
Can you put th ip lines on the wrong way, what I mean is when I go to put the pump in with the injector lines atatched is it possible to have them screwed into the wrong port of the ip and have them go to the wrong injector? I put the lines on the pump and they look about right I havent installed the pump yet, just wodering so i dont screw anything up.

see if you have this sequence on the ip:
1-8-6-5-4-3-7-2
injector/engine side:
#1 cyl = front pass side.
#8 cyl = rear drivers side.
1-8 cyls on the engine cross back and forth.so #2 cyl = front drivers ok?
and remember only 22 ft lbs on those lines.so just snug with the wrench.don't get carried away,or bad things happen and its time to buy new lines.
