Injecton Pump Legend

Ive sucked up the air into the fuel line today, by running short on fuel. When bleeding the injector lines were dried upon the cranking, and only that I've loosened Funny double screw on IP -the car started . How come there was no fuel in lines after the pump? i took a lot of bleeding of steel lines, with no result, but only 1 little loose up of the injector pump screw (one facing air filter) to crank fire
Does anybody can show me pic w/ description of the IP Pumps- i can not find it.

My guess is the IP had almost purged the air when you were bleeding the lines.

Funny double screw located above the injection head keeps the govenor pieces in place.

Thanx again David for the reply. You have been a great help for me not a first time.
I was expecting that the lines were almost bleed, when i opened up the pump, but i was wondering if there was another option connected with a pump itself.
Truck is back on the road, and rocking!
