hey guys can the injector lines be replaced without removing the
injector pump. is there a tool for this. i have one line on the bottom
of the pump that needs replaced. it was leaking out of the nut
where it bolts to the injector. thanks alot
depends on where it is, sometimes they are hard to get on the bottom, i have heard of making a tool to fit but never saw one in person. It can be done so far as i know.
Dang Doug, it takes me almost that long to crawl up in there. LOL. I lost a line in south Texas once a did a stay over at a campground until it was delivered. I didn't remove the pump but had to remove a few lines to get to the bad one.
Somebody please put some info up about this mystery tool. Have a line on the bottom that is a little wet and would like to tighten it up without pulling all the lines.

I maybe wrong but I think the tool referred to is an odd angled open end box wrench. It may be one thing to detach the line but getting it back on you'll need adequate access to seat it properly.
Basically it is a build your own type wrench. Get a cheap one and cut and weld or heat and bend it to a shape that will allow you to reach the desired line. It will look like a horse shoe with one long extended end and will be fairly short on the open end side when you are done.
I just show those as examples, did not even look to see if they were SAE or Metric.
I had access to shop tools when I did my pump. The wrenches were offset but I don't recall the angle. They may have even been the S type. I think I'll check what I need for size and go to Sears for a few configurations. I would go with Snap-on's but that money needs to go for the pump and injectors. lol
