I am going to have a spare turbo here soon.
I after I clean it up would storage in a cardboard
box in plastic and a desiccant pack be the best way
to store it? I have access to a heat sealer so I can
seal the bag with the turbo and pack in it.
I was also thinking about having jet-hot coating done to the
outside of the exhaust turbine case. Applications | Jet-Hot Ceramic Coatings
Then when I go to install it what steps do I need to
take as far as the truck relearning a new turbo?
Thanks
Would the copper anti-seize be the better one
to use because of the heat? I know that it has
a somewhat higher heat rating than the aluminum
based one. Or is there some thing altogether better
one to use?
I have both the copper and aluminum here.
