hello the truck in my sig is the question i wanted to know if i were to replace rear drive shaft to help fix angle problem. i can only find them with a double u joint on one end and a single on the other. mine currently has a single on one end and a single on other with nothing to support it in between so if i get a replacement do i need something to support it with the double on the pinon end and a single on the transfercase side also does anyone know the size to getor wheelbase to go off of
what kind of angle issues are you having? why not take your driveshaft to a shop and just have it lengthened? Also, they make shims for the center carrier to drop it down when lifting a truck.
I have no center carrier and vibration are at certain speeds after I put leveling kit and add leaf on I'm figuring if ford makes same shaft with 3 u joints instead of my 2 joint shaft it would get rid of any angle problems the factory way

Sorry, should have caught the single cab, short bed...
I wouldn't imagine you would need anything to support it, it bolts up directly, so I wouldn't imagine it would bind up or anything. I would still consider talking to a driveline shop and seeing what they say about modifying your stock shaft. I have always had lifted trucks and my local shop has always been able to fix whatever vibration or axle wrap problem I have had.
However, the double jointed shaft might be the answer, I don't know. Hopefully someone with more drive shaft knowledge will speak up soon.
With a driveshaft that has a single u joint on both ends, both the transfercase yolk and the pinion yolk have to be setup with the same angles. Take your driveshaft out and put an angle finder on the pinion yolk and then on the transfercase yolk. Both angles should be as close to the same angle as possable. If there is a big difference then you may have to lower the transfercase or install angle shims under your axle lift blocks. If the angles are close then check your driveshaft. With just a leveling kit there usually isn't any driveshaft angle issues.
Looking at it also it looks really crooked to center of truck like rear end is too far to pass side but looking at axle to frame or body it looks centered under truck
so i get the one for my wheelbase its too long so i return get it for shorter wheelbase and its too short im really starting to get mad but looks like i need a custom one made
Zotty, I'm confused as to why the old drive shaft isn't working if all you did was put a front end leveling kit on? You havent changed any rear drive angles by doing that, or was there a problem before you added the kit?
