For example 20mpg Imperial equals 16.6mpg US which means your truck is pretty average but not exceptional.
No where did I say exceptional. I said I never had one that was bad on fuel consumption. I consider 17 mpg US for a 23 year old truck with who knows how many miles on it, pretty good!
On my 89 F250 with 302/aod I get 13 to 14 mpg. Started to smell the engine running rich, so I replaced the O2 sensor(who knows how old it is), so far I am getting 14.5 to 15 MPG and the mpg's are creeping up with each fillup.
With only a 17~? gal front tank(rear missing) I have to fill up every other day.... going to find a Bronco tank and put in the rear location so I can fill hopefully once a week......
