I have a 2002 F250 7.3L, and sometimes it doesn't start right away. Every morning when i start it, it fires right up, but if i shut if off after running for a while and try to start it again usually within an hour, it will crank over a little while longer before it starts. Is this bad or dirty injectors, or worn glow plugs? Anyone help me out here?
Welcome to FTE.
The injectors in these trucks are fired by high pressure oil which is built in the HPOP(High Pressure Oil Pump)It may take a few revoltions of the motor for them to fire.I think you are fine but if you live around someone with an Auto Entegrity, they can put it on your truck and check things out.
