T444e Hard Start
i had replace the mounting gasket on th high vol. oil pump. now it's getting a hard time to start up. after it runs and we shut it down and wait a few min's. it takes a while to start up again.

check to see that the oil resivor is not draining out. The resivor holds about a quart of oil for the injectors for work properly when starting. I guess if the resivor is draining, you would have to crank for a long time to get oil back upto the injectors.

It might be just a coincidence, but check/replace the seals on the injection pressure regulator. I've seen quite a few of these go bad, and it will cause a hard start problem as well.
