On my edelbrock carb came with an instructions paper, and it said to place the carb gasket to the manifold, then the edelbrock gold plate on top of the gasket, then place the carb on top ot the gold plate adapter
Is that ok? Or did i have to place another gasket on top of the gold plate adapter?

Anyways the engine runs good now, i just need to set my timing back a little to from 8 to 10 degrees, i beleive its 12 degrees right now but im not to sure
Oh that's different I've never heard of those. I just use one of those composite/paper gaskets that are about 1/4 of an inch thick and have bushings for all four holes so you don't over tighten.
