mini max LBF setting?

I've got mine set at 5 (most smoke) Question is, is there any difference in power or fuel economy between the #1 and #5 setting? If the only difference is the ammount of smoke, ill set it to #1. Thanks..

Smoke is just unburned fuel. Also (flame suit on) you just look like a bigger A hole than everyone else while you spew it.

it says that it adjusts power levels on all settings. Level 5 is supposed to give the most power on all settings. I would assume that as much smoke as it puts out on level 5 (or at least how much mine does) that all extra mpg gains are defeated by the massive south of smoke. I leave mine on the stock setting (which is #3) if I keep my foot out of it it doesn't smoke that bad and I'm overall pretty happy with it on that setting. I tried it on #1 for a while but it felt really sluggish to me and there was no smoke while on the stock setting. Just my .02

where can I change the LBF setting? is it only if I have the DPF removed programming enabled? I haven't removed my DPF yet so I'm running in DPF Present mode

If I understood it correctly, the LBF only affects the 'get-up-and-go' when there's low boost. More fuel = more 'pep' = more smoke. Power increases are all the same for each power level regardless of LBF setting.

I don't remember seeing any LBF settings in the DPF-on tunes though...

Like Aquaman said, LBF is "Low Boost Fueling." It only effects the amount of fuel when the boost PSI is below 5 (I think). If you're drag racing, you'll want 5, I run 2 so I can save my diesel but still get a nice cloud every once in a while.

5 will give you the best mileage if you can keep your foot out of it. 1 will give you the best mileage if you cant. the Low boost puff of smoke only happens if you floor it on 5 anyway and if your doing that then the smoke was probably intentional anyway.

ok guys i have a question about running the LBF on 1, i had it on 3 when i first tuned to HD300 and later changed to 1 and then ran with the VGT wires unhooked for a while. my question is i dont recall how fast or how high it would boost before. it doesnt build crazy boost till the converter locks, does that sound right? would having the LBF on 3 or higher allow it to build more boost before it locks the converter?
