hm...more fuel usually = more smoke most guys with manual tranys start out in second or third to make the motor work harder to get the truck goin. Im not too sure on your truck but on the older diesels you could turn up the fuel pump to put more fuel in the cylinders making more smoke. just start in second or third and youll see more smoke or just get on it. Also no muffler helps.
Best way is to get someone to write a tune for you that is made to produce smoke, however, I have to tell you, more smoke means wasted fuel, wasted power and ultimately wasted money.

I know, I know. I knew what he wanted(and only wanted) but I just don't understand why people want to do it when the only tangible benefit is that it supposedly looks cool. I would rather see the rig beside me get smaller and smaller then puffing out alot of black smoke(tandimont to all bark and no bite in my book). However, I still think his best bet is to get a person to write him a smoke tune.
Thanks all. Just wondering. I think I will keep the better fuel economy. And yes, I would rather just see that dudge or chebby gettin smaller in the rearview.

Its only real good when you get somebody in a little ricer beside you with the window down and you give them a mouthful of soot. Only tunes I would want would be economy tow tunes if anything
Do what Neal said. Get a smoke tune if that is what you want.
I do not have a smoke tune myself but my 140 setting will pour chunks of coal out of the tail pipe that would make a West Virginia coal miner wet himself. If I roll smoke on you afterwards you need to head to a carwash. Ask my wife.
Not that I do that or anything.
