Intake pipe exploded tonite...

Anybody seen this before? 2011 6.7L.

Its ****ed up they would use plastic on the piece with the most strain.

Gonna go tomorow and get the new part, looks like its $200 :\.. What crap for a piece of plastic that crapped less than 500miles past warranty.

Atleast its something that i can change myself.

go to the dealer and ask about a out of warranty claim alot of times dealers do that with trucks that are just out of warranty.

Had to buy the part out of pocket, Cant leave my truck for a week while they get ford to ok ****. They did stock the part though and said they have sold 5 in the past 30 days before mine. So apparently the part is messed up to begin with. Im the first regular truck they have had the issue on but the 350 box trucks and utility beds are the ones who seem to blow it apart (Towing id assume or heavy loads)

Send me a PM with your email and ill send you a pic.

On a side note though, Does anyone know if any of these performance companys make a ugraded piece? It failed where the white ring attaches with the o-ring locked inside.Looks like the white ring was a afterthought to make putting the truck together alot quicker but it degraded the quality of that part.

Yea well i already pulled the DPF off. And if they wanna get into it about that stuff they can just look at there parts sales. Cant hide a non wear part selling that many pieces unless there is some kind of issue.
