Are you using your AE for other vehicles besides just the 7.3? If not, then I wouldn't upgrade the software. You will not see any benefit and might actually cause some new connectivity issues. If you don't have the security dongle, then you'll end up with it an that thing is just a P.I.T.A.....

So Rob you getting use to the AE and how to collect the data you want with it? And has it helped find any problem with your wife's or your truck? And are you having an issue with the software to where you feel it needs to be updated?

Yes I am. I hooked it up to both my F350 and X and ran all the tests and everything cks good. At first I must of had 30 different codes but cleared them out and now GTG. My son is having tranny trouble with the Focus so thats why I need to hook it up and see what its telling me. Dont have no issues with AE but just want to make sure I have the current version. I just bought it in April so I have the 10.2 version plus I got an email about if I have the current version.
