Broken Shift Lever!

Broken Shift Lever!
I went out at lunch today fired my truck up, pushed the brake, grabbed the shifter to put it in gear and the O/D button and housing came off in my hand!!
the wires are still attached but the end is dangling and driving me crazy! Does anyone know if I need to replace the whole lever? will the **** come off? does it unscrew? Any part numbers would be helpful as well.

Black electrical tape.
Mine would last 4 or 5 months, then I'd have to put new tape on it.
In hot cab in summer tape wouldn't last as long.
I never did look to see how to fix it.

Jim that would drive me crazy!!! I wouldnt be able to sleep at night
I will take a look at it when I get home... let ya know what I find. I know the right way to fix it would be a ZF...

F4tz-7210-B should be the part number if you dont get one from buckhammer new one on ebay will run 60

worked well but it did'nt come with a button if i remember

they don't come with a button or cover from ford either
