It sounds like there is an issue with my wiring in the distributor harness????? (still looking) (I got rained out yesterday) Today is a new day. I'll see what I can find out today. Thank you all for the feedback.............
Unplug the Computer and then crank the engine and check for spark.
If you have spark now you either have a bad computer or you are lacking good grounds and power to the computer.
Also make sure the small ground wire, black wire with a green stripe leaving the NEG post of the battery is there and is well grounded to the post of the battery. This is the computer ground wire for pins 40 & 60.
Power comes in on pins 1, 37 & 57. Pins 37 & 57 are feed from the power relay over a red wire. Pin #1 is hot at all times from a fuse link.
Also you need to have the computer unplugged anytime you are working on a no spark issue. This will keep you from flooding the engine with fuel and contaminating the engine oil while working on the problem.
