I also had the hot/cold side backwards before I did the 'mod'. Glad your experienceing neck breaking speeds, LOL.

Lol I don't know so much about that, but it does seem to be more responsive. Me shifting my trans is where the neck problems come from lol.

Yeah I'm starting to think that maybe my ujoints or throwout is going out (I already know this one is), but sure seems like whiplash on occasion even shifting slow.

How many miles? I changed my U joints at 200K,, they were still real tight and weren't making noise but defiantly needed it.

248k. That is what is weird is that they appear to be tight. It is just that sometimes when I clutch in and release it is kind of a whiplash/jerking effect. Not a lot but enough to know it has happened.
