I'm using the Sinister Diesel coolant filter kit, easy to install, but be sure to tighten all of the fittings and plugs. I found out the hard way they were only finger tight from the manufacturer. Installed it after doing a cooling system flush and installed Chevrom ELC pre mixed coolant. Have not pulled the initial filter yet, but expect to see some gooey gritty stuff to come out of there. Over all I'm happy with it so far.

ANY coolant filter is 100% better than NO coolant filter!
