Coolant Filter Users
Anyone cut open your filter to check?
I used a non loaded filter and pushed it to 25K. (wix WC8)
Noticed the filter material was breaking down.
It was very soft and falling apart when disturbed. Also there
was some type of greenish slime in the filter. Not
much but was in there. Wonder what the slime is from?
Its not oil. (coolant itself, sca additives)????
Never seen it before but i never pushed a filter this far.
Wonder if DCA70L has a service/shelf life?
140K using coolant filters and its still cleaning the system!
