Yes the E locker only works between 1 and 25 mph, after that it shuts of by itself.
The power mirrors was a selling point for me. I got to fold them one time when I was passing a Chevy in a narrow parking lot, he looked amazed when I did and just smiled at me.

We have a busy narrow road in town I did that several times with. One of the best features of the new SD for sure. Best damn mirrors. Can I mount them on my Rubicon!?

I fold mine in when I park in a parking lot, so some jerk doesn't do it for me and break something.

Also, wife and I and all the kids and grandkids were out to dinner one night and my then, 9 year old granddaughter came into the restaurant crying. I asked what happened and my daughter said that when she got out of the car she took off running through the parking lot and ran into a mirror. Poor kid. I felt so bad for her.

I pull them in just as a courtesy to the drivers parked beside me, especially when I back in - which is often. Hubby-to-be pulls them in at our house, where there are no other vehicles around for miles.....

I like to waggle mine when I have to pass idiots on the road

Pretty cool, just hit the switch....hit the switch....hit the switch!

It's like Dumbo the flying Elephant.

I don't fold mine that often in the public unless I can't park my truck by itself.
I do have to fold them in when backing into the garage.
I almost forget from time to time but remember at the last second.
