This is embarassing

When I park, often times I would manually close the driver side rear view mirror. After about a month of doing that, I told myself "Jezz Ford should have automated the process of closing the mirrors" So that same day I am washing my truck and I accidentally hit the rear view mirror adjustment button and TADA the darn mirrors automatically closed. Lol

Still learning stuff about my truck lol

You see, this is why were supposed to read the manual.

But we don't.... You're not supposed to admit it, are you?

And then we come to FTE and learn all sorts of cool stuff everyday.

Too funny... I learned how to turn on the E Locker by watching Tom's Hill Pull video of Rickatic and saw him pull the switch to initiate the E Locker.

Ok don't know about Tom's Hill Pull video, so what's an E Locker?

If you have the 3:55 gears in your rig, you can pull out the 4x4 **** and lock the rear axles.

Ding ding ding. I searched everywhere in the manual to no avail. I just learned something new but don't they lock automatically until 20mph?

The mirror feature is great when going to atm's or the bank drive through lanes.

ELD is not specific to 3.55.
You can get and I use the locking diff with my 3.31.

It only locks if you pull the **** and shuts off at 25 MPH automatically.

There is too much in the manual , its too big and hard to read. There should be a video disc to watch like my old 2001 Caddy. If you have nav you could sit in the truck and follow the instructions as it plays.

I've only read parts of the manual.
I simply keep PDF copies and search for what I need.

Just yesterday the hubby-to-be proclaimed the folding mirrors were his favorite feature on the truck. He folds them in to pass other vehicles at times! Silly man.
