Long johns? Seriously? It is still in the 90's here, and they are saying the temps will rise over the next 7 days. No way am putting on long johns! Guess I am just lucky that nature does not follow congress' idea that summer is over.

Been gone for a few days. My brother-outlaw got married out in Colorado. (Second try.) I guess he is fifty something and his bride is a little older than him. [great lady! Cute and charming} I took pleasure in pointing out to him that he is now the grandfather of eight! You should have seen his face!!!
Anyway it was a fun trip. I had not been looking forward to it but it turned out to be fun. The bride's family was just wonderful and it was fun to see all the relatives.
Flew out to Denver, rented a car so we were free to go here and there on our own schedule. Stayed at a nice resort hotel. [the whole thing was too expensive.]
Had a good day at the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City today. Got to see all the ladies there and didn't get much done, but I did do enough work for the center to cover my costs.
Hope everyone is doing well and having fun! Be nice to each other, OK?

Bruce - I'm glad that you had an enjoyable trip. It sounds like they make a great couple.
Jim & Dave - Atleast this morning is warmer (51*) than yesterday (45*). Yesterday did turn out to be nixe & toasty though by late morning. Jimmy said that it's supposed to be warmer in the mornings this weekend... YEAH for me! He agrees w/ you guys - longjohns? He says I'll be roasting in them & to just wear normal riding attire. Don't worry guys! I'm sure I could try to find some way to pull off looking somewhat sexy in longjohns. LOL!
Oh hey!...I even have 1 peice longjohns w/ the butt flap that I found when I was going through boxes for the garage sale. LOL! 
Do they even make those anymore?
Pat - yah, I don't want to drop the bike. Some teachers say that your mind works better when the temp is around 62*- 65*! GREAT... So my mind will be working, but my reflexes will be frozen & unsteady & my teeth will be chattering. LOL! Wish I'd be riding a crotch rocket so I can hug the tank for the heat from the engine. 
Gerry - I know what you mean. The cold really plays hell on my bones & joints as I get older. WAH!
I want to be young & pain free again.

Good morning to the FTE world ... please be safe and happy today !!!
My son, David, works for American Airlines @ LAX and last night he and his night crew got to visit the hanger where the shuttle Endeavor is being worked on. He has always been obsessed about flying (hence why he works there ) so this was a very big moment for him. He got a great picture in front of it I told him to make copies and a poster of it I'm very excited for him today !!!

They are going back tonight and see if they can go inside it... he has always wanted to be any sort if pilot He's been with AA for 11 yrs and fly's every where he can for any reason at all... I fly about 3X a year ...live it !!!
