explorer overhead console, round 2

Okay, I went back to the junkyard and got everything I need to install an Explorer overhead console in my 94 F150 (I also got a couple of extra consoles if anyone is interested). I have spent a fair amount of time reading about the wiring, and it seems that the grey/black wire that goes to the vehicle speed sensor is necessary for the thermometer to read correctly. So, my question is this: where is the easiest place to access that wire on my truck?

Honestly, just hide the temp sensor somewhere where the wind wont get to it. The only real place to tap in is at the PSOM. I didn't feel comfortable messing with that wire.

Yea, I was gonna say, can't imagine at all what a temperature display would do with a VSS input.
