Well, since you're funds limited, and seeing as you'll need to convert it to mass-air, I don't see a lopey cam in your future, unless you carb it. If you go that route, find yourself a roller 351 from a 94-97 pickup or van, then swap the cam out for a B303. Then port the exhaust sides of the E7 heads and replace the rockers with 1.7 full rollers. Top it with a Performer RPM and a 650 Holley.
ok, well ik the 351 would give me more torque but ultimately which stock engine would be the best for a good all around daily driver but closer to and offroading vehicle? im on my 3rd engine in a year and a half and the 2nd tranny and transfer case not to mention all the other little **** that ive had to fix so i need something that can handle my driving lol.. i also have a really high gear ratio that screws me over but i dont want to regear when i dont have to.. does anyone know what the highest gear ration is a 1992 f150?
