manual shifter
Wasup yall. I have a 78 F150 Ranger XLT 5.8L 351M that I need help with. I would like to replace the stock floor shifter levers. I could use some help as to were to look. I have been searching the net for the last couple of days and have not seemed to find anything compatible.

those levers and rods seem to always be an issue. getting stuck etc. You could check your adjustment to see if u can get it better but if u have the cheapo shift kit from the a/p store like i do its a lost cause- try a hurst kit if u can afford it.

even making your own shifter it will still end up being very similar to stock, the shift pattern is so wide the leaver is kinda purpose built. just refinishing it you shouldent even have to remove it.
transfercase shifter would be alil easier to customise. if you have a np205 you can twin stick it. jeffs bronco graveyard sells a kit.
