I need to look at my filter minder and figure out why it works so well. I get up to 30 PSI and I get almost a year before mine pops. The minder-pop coincides with a long coal trail on the 80e Tune... so I now call that my filter minder as well.

i use the riffraff 6637 filter for $29, and a petes cover.
i got 4 years and 52,000 miles out of the last filter. it was still good, but i decided to change it anyway.
i put the old filter on the 88.

so if I want to hear my turbo "sing" and the "whoosh" which filter do I want? the AFE big boost?

i think the 6637 will give you the most intake noise simply be being the biggest filter.

i doubt it very much.
the filter is 12 inches long and 8 1/2 inches wide with a 4 inch intake tube.

I believe it is S&b that makes replacement filters for the different brands of intakes. I have see. An add I a diesel power. I think they are paper filters if you weren't wanting.g to drop the cash in the afe replacement.
