The 2008 F250 wheels are the same bolt pattern right? 8x170? The problem with them is that they needed a spacer to make work, right? And what are they 20x7,7.5,8,?
Just trying to verify, found a set of the 20's 5 spoke for a good price im thinking about picking up to try and see if my brake idea will work.
yea price for spacers. 400 a piece for tires. Then I can get started on the brake experiment I want to try.
Wow !!! $400.00 a wheel ? I got a pair spacers for the rear of my dually to put wider tires on , for about 320.00 with shipping . Give Fred a call WheelAdapter.com > Wheel Spacers
I just bought a set of lightly used wheels/tires for my truck, for a guy who did in fact, install the 18" 08 wheels. I tell you what, if not for the "design" of the wheel, for me, i couldnt tell that the whells "sat' a bit inside. Tires looked flushed with wheel wells to me. Also, being that his truck was also a 2wd, he said nothing was hit'n. i guess theres something on the 4x4, whether it being the leafs or maybe the swaybar link, that is the part that hits the tires at full locked to locked.
I have 17" 2007(?) wheels on mine from the previous owner. Flat 5 spoke without the machined groove in the middle of the spoke. 1 1/4 " steel spacers on all 4 wheels with 37"BFG Muds. With the front spring leveling kit they LT front tire rubs on the leaf spring at full lock, I have the plastic trimmed on the lower rear of the inner fenderwells also.
Not sure if your backspacing is the same on the 20's but should be. Please include some Pic's when you get them mounted. I have been eyeballing them on some local trucks here and they look pretty sweet!

Sorry mis-stated that last night. Was to tired. The spacers are roughly 50 a piece, the tires for the wheels are about 400 a piece. There we go, thats better.
And Ive always been a huge fan of simple looks better on vehicles. No frills, all smooth, no stickers, moldings, just plain. To me thats the look I like.
Just a quick question. I got a 2008 F-250 5.4. Currently I have 265/70R17's and I just bought 305/70R17's Nitto Terra Grappler's. I bought a 2.5 leveling kit for the front so I can get them tires in there. A ford dealer told me that if I put that kit in, my nose will be pokin up higher than my rear. Is that true? If so, should I get an inch or two inch block for the rear. Thanks!
