Is anybody using toyo H/T tires ? I am thinking about going with these. I am currently running Michelin LTX MS2 . I put 33,000 miles on them and they are now at the wear bars. I rotate them every time the oil is changed (5000 miles). I am looking for a very good highway tread tire. Thanks for any input.
I run MT's in the summer and M-55's in winter studded.
M-55's with out studs r not great in snow, but for working in the oil fields they r tough and can take a lot of abuse from the scoria roads(sharp edge rock) also I ran my last set close to 60k. They r not built for flying in the rain or speeds over 80...cuz there hard but if you haul a load and want long life havn't found anything to beat em..my $0.02
I run Toyo Mt's and love them. Can't say how long they last, but mine seem to be holding tread VERY well and have heard of people getting 50k no problem. They are extremely quiet for MT's and ride nice.
33,000. That's not much life for Michelins. I run the same tire and so far so good. I wonder why they wore so soon?
Had Toyo M/T's before that, and 50K is about right.
I would not hesitate to try the H/T. If you are wearing out a Michelin that soon though, it would be tempting to look at a harder tire. I've heard good things on the M55, and a step above that is what I run to carry the camper: Toyo M143, H-rated highway tire. Needs 19.5" wheels though.

Are they load range Es? How much pressure you runinng? I have those tires, with 31k on them and they look like this... (load range E, rotated twice, run 70 psi in them all the time) I think ive got another 30k in them at least. I honestly dont think theres a better highway tire.
I run Hankook DynaPro AT/M's and they are great. Plenty of grip off-road, quiet on the highway, and I should get about 55k out of them. I don't tow/haul very often but they are solid in just about any terrain. I'll very likely buy another set when the time comes to replace the current ones.
I have not run that specific tire on my truck but I have run the Toyo's when we had a conversion van. You will like them. Go for it. You don't need a good snow performing tire in FL like the Michelin's. And if you are not going off road who cares about aggressive tread?
Studawg, mine dont look like that they are at the bars, I like the ride. I thought they were the best that's why I bought them . I don't tow or abuse them in any way. My pressure is good. I might go with them again I am just getting opinions.

Spence , since I didn't have them rotated and balanced regularly at the place of purchase they won't do anything.
Sounds like a bad shop to me, they shouldn't care provided the wear is even across all 4 tires. It's not like they will be out of pocket for them. I'd go back and try again maybe you got the lazy guy who didn't feel like doing the paperwork. Makes me think the extra money I spend getting tires at costco is worth it.
