I have a 1982 f250 and I was looking for a set of wheels. Ifound a set off a 2003 f250 and I was wondering if those wheels will work on my truck.

98 and up are 8 x 170mm and yours are 8 x 6.5 inches.

They will not fit. Up to 97 will work

i think the bolt pattern is different, but the pattern on your 82 should be 5x5.5
which means five lugs 5.5 across from eachother(correct me if i'm wrong)
here this might help
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...g-pattern.html
good luck

If you are looking for wheels like that, look for them of of a Dodge Ram 2500. They are still 8-6.5" Bolt Circle. That is what is on my 2003 dodge Ram 2500 in the pic below. It has the Cummins Diesel.

Ford and Dodge both use the large centers and are interchangeable.

Chevys use a smaller bore center and will not fit (most of the time).

Wheels on f250's

So the 2003 wheels won't work, or will they? It is a light duty truck so the size of the hole in the center doesn't matter. So are the lugs the same distance apart where the bolts will line up and fit?
