P2614 Cam shaft Sensor Problem solved
Repost of my no start on sunday! Just got to warroad saturday night from a canadian fishing trip. Went to start my truck sunday morning, nope no start
Connected the torque app and had a P2614 camshaft position signal output circuit open code! We got hold of a local mechanic that suggested we use a hair dryer on the sensor! I found the sensor on the drivers side below air filter & turned on the hair dryer Pointed at the sensor for 5 minutes & presto it fired right up
So not shure if this is in the new no start folder(i had a copy we were going down the list), but a hair dryer or barbecue lighter warming the right sensor might get you home. Installed the new $40 sensor tonight, 850 ohms new sensor, old sensor 745 ohms.
