i was thinking about running twin t500s, i can get them if i want. im still up in the air on running them or not but i still have a single t500. oil stays up there in the res. i know for a fact my ICP is never the same, i feel like its a sensor issue, like if i coast to a light in neutral. every now and then it will just drop idol a little bit and lumpy like i flipped a switch and then comes right back up. were talking like going fomr 575rpm to like 525, so its not that much. or what ever these trucks idol at.
Yeah my pumps drop 2 psi WOT and come back up. Suckers can move fuel, here's what I sent to Matt
Alright so here are some readings, 3304psi ICP in 5th gear, 5th gear is not enough if a "load" to make it cut out no matter the tune, truck did not fully fuel like I mentioned. 3rd and 4th gear would raise ICP to 2200-2400psi 43%DC and cut out and drop way down to 330psi. We turned back around on the highway and the truck snapped out if it and fully fueled. Man did it scream!! 2850-2900psi at 38-39 ipr DC.
Steve, I have had and solved the same issue you have. Your truck isn't technically defuel but it is. Our MAP sensor can't/doesn't read that high of boost and a few trucks get "confused" when they see a readings that high. I simply placed a mini air regulator in line to my MAP and set it at like 23-25 psi (can't remember exactly as it was 5 years ago) but it solved the issue. It felt just a like a rev limiter like you said.
