injector leak.

I installed a set of injectors and #1 is leaking. I had some ring issues when I put the fuel lines in and a bit of fuel leaked down to the threads that meat the engine. when I cranked it over i either got bubbles or splatter due to it not seating right. whats the best way of making sure every thing is cleaned properly and theres nothing in the bottom where the washer goes. I tried 2 or 3 new washers just to make sure. I would like suggestions as i am hesitent to start dropping debree down on the piston.

Did you torq it to 35#. And did the old washer come out with the old injector? You may have to look down there and check.
