Absolutely! It can leak where the colored housing (mine are orange) meets the main body. I've had it happen on two injectors. I would smell gas when I stopped, but had trouble finding the leaks. The gas would bubble out at the described location and evaporate away while driving.

Thanks. I just had one replaced and was thinking it was just the o ring. A little peace of mind helps. LOL
