Jim, Sorry to hear the operation has been put off. At least she is scheduled for first thing in the morning.
My dentist has referred me to a root canal specialist.... Oh Joy. Thursday 1330 hrs and that is just for the exam. Sounds like I will be taking my fair share of Ibuprofen between now and then.

Nice camper Andre.
Your weights are pretty close to mine, I just squeak under on my rear axle when I go over the scale (7,000#). I've never felt uncomfortable towing. I do have a toolbox in the front of my box that has a bit of weight to it, if you don't keep a bunch of tools and hitches in your truck you can likely get away with a titan tank and be legal. I of course wouldn't mind a dually for towing, but off road needs and tight parking at work stop me.
Far as the camper goes you got a good start. I might consider putting a 7,500 Onan if you plan on a lot of "roughing it". I've overheated my breakers twice on 90° days running two A/Cs and doing stuff inside. I will also strongly recommend the disk brakes.
I will add these big tandem axle units will chew up the suspension pretty quick. Even well greased the bronze bushings are done after two seasons for me. I carry spare parts to fix any suspension problem it's been that bad. You got my number if you have any urgent questions.😎

Evening all. Took the ‘kids’ out for a walk this evening. A crow decided to fly into a tree overhead and join us. Boy was he mouthy. I don’t think he appreciated Demon Kitty coming up the tree to discuss it…..
Heading back over to the camper from the Wardens room. With the new surgery schedule it is now past my bed time.

Now that's one truck I wouldn't want to drive in bad weather. Rain..snow or ice could have you spinning like a top! Short wheelbase tandem would be good in the city only...highway would beat you to death. White Motor Corp. kidney buster edition!!
Another hot one today. Low 90's expected with heat index over a hundred. Need to mow the lawn today because its growing like crazy with the rain we've been getting. Have a great day everyone!

Bart those horses become family. It's pretty easy for them to spend 20 years with you and some go 30. It's been cool enough at night to leave the windows open and I got up this morning and cleared my throat in the bathroom as I was getting ready to shower. I heard my gelding out in the corral answer. I looked out and saw him staring at my window. He knows my voice and heard me thru the window and answered.

Thats exactly what happened to me just last week, and eventually my wife. i was all up to date on the vaccine as well. I talked to my Dr. and Pfizer has an prescription antiviral out now called Paxlovid that is a 5 day regimen, and has to be started within 5 days of diagnosis. The stuff worked magic. i suffered 3 days without, and the 3rd day started this, and in 24 hrs was feeling much much better. I'm usually anti-drug, but with Covid you just really dont know how *you* will react, so i chose to go with it.
