Took the horses and made a last ride in the mountains for the year. It's extremely rare that I can even get my truck up the Mirror Lake highway this late in November. They don't snow plow it and it's usually closed from November to Memorial day, buried in snow. So with this unseasonal warm weather we figured we'd better enjoy a last ride before we get forced into the desert for the winter.
Most of the ride was around 10,000 foot elevation. Hardly saw any other people. A couple guys fishing, who said fishing was great, fish putting on weight before they get ice'd over.
And just in case you looked in the mirror this morning

Good for you Jon, very nice man, thx for sharing
the yuppies up here would spend a million bucks to get their property looking like that .....
I only glance at the mirror, I never stare at it
I started overhauling a Ford C6 trans for a 1969 Torino 427 CID,
its a pleasure to work on ..... its for an old friend

I still really want to see the Convention force term limits on Congress and an age limit on the Supreme Court.
I don't think you should be allowed to serve on the court at ages where they are no longer as mentally sharp as they used to be.
As for Senators and Congressman....it would be healthy to have new blood in seats...but I'm biased. I'm just tired of seeing Mitch McConnell on my TV.

How about an age limit for Presidents? Next it will be workers. There is already a lot of hidden age discrimination out there. It's even getting hard to get hired in your 40s and I know a lot of displaced folks in their 50s and 60s that can't get a job.
We do need to flush the congressional toilet - and I am a fan of term limits there. Even maybe a term limit for supreme court justices. Can't serve more than 16 years as an example.... It's tough for me to say where can you hold a job if you are not as sharp as you used to be and that is way different for each person.
Just some friendly discussion - not meaning to offend....
