Andre, sorry to read about the broken wrists. Hope he heals quickly.
Watching all of that unfold last night and early this morning was very nice. I had NO trouble staying at work last night. I was also fortunate enough to catch her concession speech earlier this morning after I got up. I bet THAT serving of crow was difficult to swallow, and they had the crow set up banquet style, and LOTS of people were got to eat it. My daughter says everyone up near UPenn is "freaking out" over the election results. Poor, spoiled college kids. Too bad their candidate lost.
Oh well. Going to have another night at the perfume factory as quiet as I can make it. Monty, hope your shift is also very boring.

So this happened...
He was doing a split jerk with 130# which is no problem weight wise for him. This is a standing lift where you lift eh bar to your chest. Then jerk it over your head and then back down to your chest. He did his first rep and brought the bar to his chest. He lost his balance and fell backward. Upon falling with his back to the ground, his elbows also made contact with the ground. Problem was the bar was still in his hands and stopped instantly breaking both wrists.
I picked him up from school and brought him to the ER. Orthopedic set both wrists and put on temporary casts. He goes back Thursday or Friday for a permanent casts that hopefully will be below the elbow. Great day today!
