I think the disconnect you're feeling is the fact that these trucks have electric power steering vs hydraulic.

This 5.0 is a damn rocket ship.
It could very well be the eps! Never thought of that. I have the 3.5 EcoBoost, and it rips! It is a lot of fun to drive.
I still wish I would've bought a Super Duty.

Evening folks! After the horrendous days at work on Tues/Wed, I decided not to do the Pre-Black Friday-Thursday Night shopping last night. Instead, I was in bed around 9. Got up and went to Home Depot this morning at 5 and was fourth in line and scored some goodies there. Then went and bought a gun safe that was on sale. Wanted another one, just didn't want to buy another Liberty( NOTHING wrong with Liberty safes at all) like I have as their prices are now through the roof. To get another one just like I have would be in the neighborhood of $3500. Just didn't see the need, so bought one with a 60 minute fire rating similar to the Liberty. Since they will hopefully be in different parts of the house, it won't matter that they don't match.
Hope you guys have had a couple of good days and hope you had a great Thanksgiving! Time to get the uniforms ready for tomorrow and crash. Later guys. Have a great evening!

Good morning, crew !! Hope all had a fantastic Thanksgiving and Black Friday!!
Had a great time leading friends n tourists thru parts of AZ that many never get to see!!

If some of these machines get any bigger, they will get locked out of some very scenic areas!!! Not necessarily by man or government, but just by nature!!!
Have a great rest of the weekend! Later

Howdy gang! Even with two weeks off from the perfume factory, it wasn't enough time to catch up on chores and errands, before getting back to perfume manufacturing. It was long enough to miss out on some good readin along the way, and an extra long time needed to catch up.

Don, I'm glad the brisket turned out great, and I'm always happy to assist. Did you get any pics?

I got to avoid Black Friday BS by coming to work to start nights. I'll let the hordes of crazy people save the big bux on all their toys now, and get my shopping done when the madness has slowed down and prices have drifted back up slightly.

Have a great evening gang! I still have some catching up to do on other threads, and we are currently restarting a unit that developed a leak a few days ago.

I skipped the Black Friday sales and headed for the desert. Trying to get one or two more rides in before winter shows up. We headed out to Box Flats in the San Rafael Swell area of central Utah. Temps were in the mid 60's and about as blue a sky as you could ask for. Pretty cool country, You can see why the outlaws used to hide from the Law out here.
