Remote Start Suggestions
I had a viper on my 07 6.0 f250. The installer did solder all of the connections. Dont let a best buy type operation just use quick crimps. The range is 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile depending on line of sight and if you have him hook up the aux button you can either crack your windows or roll them all the way down if you have auto windows that is. i had 12 second delay on mine which worked fine in the phx area or flagstaff area in the winter. Now they have ones that you can hook up a camera and monitor your truck from an i phone and similiar devices. there is a asterisk button also on the remote that is the remote start button that you push twice to start it. if you pull in to a circle k or qt you hit it again and it will keep the engine running while you remove the keys and alarm fob, go get a drink or whatever. anyone that opens the door and hits the brake, it dies, and beeps your remote. you can also arm it while it is running like that. great alarm and they(viper) also pay 5k if it gets stolen.

I have a Viper remote/start and think they are great. Only issue was wouldn't remote start, so brought it in to the shop that installed it for the original owner & fixed it for no charge! Life time warranty no ownership/paperwork questions.
My Autopage has a car jacking feature as well. When a car jacking is about to happen you press the remote and let them drive away. 30 sec into his joy ride, the alarm will sound once to give warning. If the programmed code is not pressed within 30 seconds, a second alarm will sound and then the engine shuts down and will not restart without the programmed code.
Another feature this alarm has. You can set it to either start at a predetermined time or set it to start at a predetermined temp.
Has more. Look it up
