Installed Python remote start and alram....
couldn't help it any longer...no remote start was killing me. So I broke down and bought the Python remote plus alarm. One word......
KILLER!! wake up every morning and hear that baby start up is just music to my ears. Plus now I can pull up somewhere, get down, engine running, pull the key and leave it running
. A/C kickin, the whole nine yards.
If anyone tries to mess with it, the brake is touched and the engine kills.

Make that 3 of us!! I am about to add a light bar to my SD. I have a couple of VHF mobiles in mine too but I would like the remote start so that I can just fire it up while I get ready to go. I just want to make sure it doesn't go anywhere without me in it!

I paid for mine to be installed......there is a MOUNTAIN of spaghetti mess wires that comes with it! I wasn't about to tackle that! The Python setup is great though, it includes the remote start, and a GREAT alarm setup, mine even has the ability to roll down the windows, but I chose not to have that option, didn't see much use for it!? The remote start is wired into the WTS circuit, some rem. starters just have a timer, which isn't a good idea when it's REAL cold. My .02 cents

I had mine installed also, no way I was messing with that, it took an experienced installer over 4 hours to do mine, which means it would have taken me 4ever!!!

I got the same thing, when its hot or cold out i leave that setting for the next day. Remote start with alarm is great thing, also for letting the turbo cool down, just pull the key and shut of when you want.

EDIT: your about 20 mins away from me, I always use Trick Trucks down in Kensington Md. They might be a little higher on the price side but I have never known of ANYBODY having a problem with them...
