okay, asked this before, and I know alot of you say to go to hid lights, but i was either considering the crystalvision or the silver star ultra, Im just not happy with my headlights on high beam, just doesnt seem bright enough, I really dont have it to spend alot of a hid kit, nor would i probally be able to install them if they are hard to do, anyone change there lights and seen a difference ?
I put in Silverstar Ultras. Maybe 25-30% brighter. $50 plus tax. Not very hard to install but you do have to take off your front grill, the grill comes off by removing 4 bolts on the top and releasing 4 or 5 clips on the bottom.
I replaced all my lights including fogs with PIA. It's a brighter light than stock. I also had a set of PIA aftermarket lights installed one by one next to my front license plate connected to up fitter 1. This provides me additional light far in excess of what high beam provides for those pitch dark country roads. no big intrusive light set up and no big bracket installed.
I installed piaa extreme white headlight bulbs and fog bulbs the first week I had my truck and what a difference. I have had great luck with piaa bulbs.
