HID lights replacement

HID lights replacement

Anybody install HID replacement light assembly on the 2011 ford F350?I see some Recon assembly but I don't know how long the plastic will last without getting dull .FOR THE 500-700 $ investment I don't know....

Couples guys have the recon lights in the 6.7 section, haven't heard of any complaints.

Please note that real HID or projector headlights need to have a ballast for each light and vehicle specific pnp wiring harness. Anything else is just brighter bulbs not aimed correctly. If you want true projector headlights do some research on theretrofitsource website. You can send your headlights in and have projectors installed, purchase another set of headlight and have those converted or you can do them yourself. The biggest difference I found is the cutoff line of my projectors is set at the same height as my stock headlight cutoff line. That makes oncoming cars very happy, as I have not yet been flashed for having lights to bright. IMO they are a must compared to stock lights if you do alot of night time driving.
