I run the AutoZone batteries with 3 year over-the-counter warranty in all my vehicles. Some have been returned over the years under warranty, always with good cooperation. That matters alot to me.
Interstate MegaTron Plus, 1000CCA, Bought as a pair, 2.5 years on them. Turns the engine in subzero minus and triple digit temps without a problem. Even after glow plug operation.
I think there are only 3 companies making all the batteries. Although I have not tried them yet, my next ones will be from Costco, with as many amps as possible.
I have had the ones from DEKA, Wal Mart, Pep Boys, Napa, Motorcraft etc. They all go bad. A good warranty with a lot of available dealers to honor it , and high amps is the best you can do. And the cheaper the better.
